The Glass Breakage Alarm is a low cost and highly effective addition to any security plan.
The Glass Breakage Alarm is also called a Vibration Alarm and Window Burglar Alarm. This little alarm includes a 12 volt battery and therefore requires no wiring making installation is a breeze. When the glass breakage alarm detects a vibration or a glass break, a loud 100 decibel alarm will sound for approximately 30 seconds then reset. There are usually two sensitivity settings, low and high. The vibration alarm works best when attached to the center of the window pane. A strong adhesive tape is included. If you decide to place the Glass Breakage Alarm in a location other than the center of the glass, the sensitivity will need to be set to “High”.
The Glass Breakage Alarm can also be used as a personal property or laptop computer alarm.
