College Parking Lot Safety

Wednesday, September 7, 2011 @ 08:09 AM

Avoid the lurking dangers in a college parking lot with a stun gun flashlight. The stun gun flashlight fits easily into your backpack or purse. With voltage outputs of 80,000 to 200,000 volts, the flashlight stun guns put out plenty of power to incapacitate the largest of attackers. The flashlight stun guns can also be used as blunt-force defensive weapons incorporated into them a 130 decibel alarm to attract attention.

Stun Guns and College

Tuesday, September 6, 2011 @ 08:09 PM

College campuses are opening all over the U.S. While campus security will be busy keeping students safe, there is always an element of danger they cannot respond to. Just as any city law enforcement agency, campus security has a slow response time. Students must have the ability to defend themselves prior to the opportunity to call for help and while waiting for help to arrive.

A stun gun is one of the best defensive tools when someone is able to grab you. Even if you are taken by surprise, a stun gun is easy to deploy in a self defense situation. There are many compact stun guns on the market that fit easily into a purse or back-pack. Learn how to use your stun gun properly and keep your stun gun charged. Students must also know their college’s rules and regulations regarding the use of stun guns on campus. Please call your college’s public safety office or campus police to learn more about stun gun usage on campus.

Stun Gun Misuse

Wednesday, June 15, 2011 @ 08:06 PM

Stun guns are fast becoming the non-lethal defense weapon of choice. The use of a stun gun has thwarted many reported attacks and many more unreported attacks. With an increase in the number of stun guns on the streets there will always be unintended consequences. The inevitable is that more and more stun guns are being used by criminals against unarmed victims. While this is an unfortunate fact, I find it more unfortunate and disturbing when I ponder the inevitable outcome of such statistics. We are now charged with defending the use of stun guns and other non-lethal defense weapons just as gun owners have been fighting to maintain their rights. The Second Amendment that guarantees the individual right to bear arms also applies to those of use who prefer the use of non-lethal defense products.

Please do your part and know the laws in your area regarding the possession, use and transportation of stun guns and other defense products. Every violation constitutes one more reason to ban our rightofdefense.

A New Mini-Stun Gun

Monday, April 25, 2011 @ 03:04 AM

The high-power stun gun race is coming to an end. How much voltage do you actually need to disable an attacker? The makers of Cheetah Stun Guns have departed from the power race. They realize high-voltage is high-voltage and everyone makes a high-voltage square and boring box of a stun gun. Cheetah Stun Guns has once again proven that it is the innovator of the industry with the introduction of the CH-350 series stun guns.

The Cheetah CH-350 stun guns are a modest but effective 350,000 volts but it’s not the voltage that makes this series of stun gun stand out. The Cheetah CH-350 stun guns are only 4″ tall and packaged in a new case that is ergonomically pleasing. With a built-in 4-LED flashlight, on/off switch, stun button, flashlight button and power indicator, this stun gun is an exceptional value that no competitor has even attempted to match. The CH-350 Cheetah Stun Guns come with an integrated charger, just flip out the plug and insert the Cheetah CH-350 Stun Gun into any 110V receptacle. You can get your Cheetah CH-350 stun gun in Black, Pink and Purple and a tough nylon carry case/holster is included.

TASER Gun Is Not A Firearm

Tuesday, March 1, 2011 @ 12:03 AM

What is a TASER? A firearm is a device that uses pressure from a burning powder to force a projectile down and out of a metal tube. The key words are burning and powder, hence the name “fire-arm”. An armament that uses fire. So the TASER gun is not a firearm. A gun has a barrel but may not necessarily use fire from a burning powder. An air gun is an example of a gun that is not a firearm.

When the first TASERs were being developed in the seventies, they used .22 Long Rifle cases to propel the darts toward an attacker. At that point the ATF considered the TASER to be a firearm and the same purchase requirements. Later the TASER was developed with compressed air and nitrogen which declassified it as a firearm. Today you may purchase a TASER over the counter or online unless you live in a Police State.

What’s the Difference?

Wednesday, February 23, 2011 @ 12:02 AM

A frequent question heard regarding TASER weapons is; “What is the difference between the Police TASERs and the civilian TASERs?” There is not much difference between the two at all.

The Police model TASER devices can only be purchased by government organizations. The differences are not enough to warrant wanting a Police TASER over a civilian model. The government model TASER guns can increase your liability risk. The Police TASER weapons simply shoot 25-30 feet instead of the 15 ft reach allowed for the civilian TASERS. Another key difference is the ability of law enforcement to control the length of shock, a feature that has lead to the deaths you hear about. Unlike the civilian TASER guns that will automatically pulse allowing the defender to set the TASER down and get away, the Police model TASER guns will continue to shock until the law enforcement officer releases the trigger.

The Best Stun Gun Value

Monday, January 24, 2011 @ 10:01 PM

We talk about value in products. Just what is value? Value is worth or importance, relatively speaking. When we talk about stun guns, value is easy to define. How much voltage can you get for a buck? Well, if we’re talking about the Lava 3.5 million volt stun gun, what we get is the best “value” stun gun on the market. The price of a Lava stun gun is around $35. So, what we actually get is 106,221 volts per buck spent. Let’s look at another model, the Stun Master Runt 3.5 million volt stun gun can be had for around $55. That’s only 63,636 volts per buck spent.

I know, I know, you think the Runt must be a better stun gun, it has to be since it’s more and there must be reason for the price difference. There is a reason for the price difference, it’s called marketing or price controls, or both, whatever. They’re all made in China nowadays and many come from the exact same manufacturer. Stun Guns are just packaged differently. Why pay more for the same product. Just save yourself some of that hard earned cash and get yourself and your loved ones a Lava 3.5 million volt stun gun. At around 35 bucks you can buy two Lava’s for the price of a more expensive stun gun.

The Perfect RV Protection

Monday, January 17, 2011 @ 12:01 AM

Do you own an RV? If you do, you should have an expandable stun baton near the door ready to go.

There are many advantages to the expandable stun baton. Their compact size while collapsed makes them easy to store near the door. With the press of a button, the expandable stun baton slams open and immediately begins to stun. The 21 inches while extended allows you to keep your distance from your attacker. If some one knocks at your door and tries to force their way in, just grab your expandable stun baton and deploy the stun enough to get the door closed and locked. Immediately call for help or get your gun if you didn’t already have it ready.

The Mini Stun Baton

Friday, December 24, 2010 @ 12:12 AM

Street Wise has redefined the stun baton with the Street Wise Mini Stun Baton.

The Street Wise 700,000 Volt Stun Baton is much shorter than it’s full size counter parts. Measuring 10 inches long, the stun baton is now ideal for storage in your car. The Street Wise Mini Stun Baton comes with all the features you’d expect in a stun baton such as a disable pin and a safety switch. Most attacks can be thwarted by simply test firing the stun baton into the air. The loud electrical cracks are a warning to those whose intention is to harm us.

The new compact size of the Street Wise Stun Baton makes the stun baton more versatile than before.
